Queeqs – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Queeqs mobile application, website, products, and services (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Queeqs.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 7 years old to use Queeqs.
 - Users under the legal age of digital consent in their country (e.g., 13 or 16 in some regions) must have a parent or guardian review and consent to their use of Queeqs.
 - Parents/guardians are fully responsible for monitoring and supervising minors under their care.
 - By using Queeqs, you confirm that you can form a binding contract (or that your parent/guardian accepts these Terms on your behalf) and that you are not prohibited by law from using our services.
 
2. Community Standards & Zero Tolerance Policy
Queeqs is a community-driven pet care and breeding platform. To protect users, we enforce a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive behavior.
You agree not to upload, share, or engage in:
- Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, or violent content.
 - Hate speech, discrimination, or promotion of self-harm.
 - Spam, fraudulent activity, impersonation, or scams.
 - Uploading content you do not own or lack rights to.
 
In addition, you agree that:
- You will not post any content that threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order, or causes incitement to commit an offence, prevents investigation, or insults any other nation.
 - You will not encourage or promote any activity that violates these Terms.
 - You will not circumvent any feature, action, measure, or policy implemented by us. Example: if you are banned, you must not attempt to re-register.
 - You will solely bear the costs and consequences of any actions taken by you on the Platform.
 - You must not falsely represent yourself as another person or as a representative of another person. Accounts may be suspended or removed if false or misleading information is provided.
 - While we take steps to secure the Platform, we cannot guarantee immunity from hacking or malware. You are responsible for ensuring your device has appropriate protection.
 
Reporting & Blocking
- If you encounter abusive users or inappropriate content, you can report it through either of the following:
- In-app Reporting Form: Profile → Settings → Report
 - Email: grievance@queeqs.co (include screenshots/links, the offending profile or content URL/ID, and a brief description)
 
 - You may block any user to stop messages, requests, or interactions.
 - All valid reports are reviewed promptly, and necessary actions (content removal, warnings, account suspension or termination) are taken within 24 hours under our moderation policy.
 - If your content is removed for violation, you may appeal via the in-app Reporting Form or by emailing grievance@queeqs.co.
 
3. User-Generated Content (UGC)
- You retain ownership of any content you upload (e.g., pet profiles, photos, health records, breeding details).
 - By submitting content, you grant Queeqs a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, use, display, and share it as necessary to operate the Platform.
 - Content may remain in backups for a limited time even after deletion.
 
4. Content Moderation & Safety Tools
To comply with App Store requirements and keep the community safe, Queeqs provides:
- Filtering: Automated and manual moderation tools to detect objectionable or restricted content.
 - Flagging/Reporting: Users can report/flag content or profiles using the in-app Reporting Form (Profile → Settings → Report) or by emailing grievance@queeqs.co with relevant evidence.
 - Blocking: Users can block abusive users to stop requests or interactions.
 - Response: Reports are reviewed within 24 hours, and offending content or accounts may be removed or suspended.
 
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about yourself and your pets.
 - Use the Platform only for lawful and intended purposes.
 - Respect the rights, safety, and dignity of other users.
 - Not attempt to bypass security, hack, distribute malware, or misuse Queeqs’ systems.
 
6. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using Queeqs, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
7. Payments & Promotions (if applicable)
- Some features may be free, while others may require payment.
 - Payments are handled via Apple App Store/Google Play billing systems.
 - Promotions or offers may appear in the app but are not endorsements of third-party services.
 
8. Disclaimers
- Queeqs is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed vet for medical care.
 - We strive to provide reliable services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access.
 - We are not liable for damages or losses arising from your use of the Platform.
 
9. Account Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, post objectionable content, or misuse the Platform.
 - You may delete your account anytime via app settings.
 
10. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms apply globally, subject to local consumer protection laws.
 - For users in India: governed by Indian law, exclusive jurisdiction with Vadodara courts.
 - For users in EU/US/other countries: local mandatory consumer laws may also apply.
 
11. Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If major changes occur, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Queeqs after updates means acceptance of the new Terms.
